I Need Your Help!

I was on holiday, and came back with more than 950 photos, most of which I can use for the website! In addition to that, someone on the Discord has volunteered a lot of photos! I also had a ton of ideas for things to add or improve on the website. The backlog of features I want to implement and add is huge.

I need your help!

What Should I Implement?

I’d like to involve you in deciding what to work on next for the “Practice Drawing This” website. I’m also interested in trying something new that Joel Spolski had described in a blog post a while back.

It’s a fun little game.

Below are broadly described categories I can spend time on, with a “price” attached to them reflecting how much effort I estimate it would take me.

You get to spend 50 Euros on these features in any way you want. You can spend more than the price mentioned. For example, you can spend the entire 50 Euros on new 3D models, even though the price mentioned is only 10 Euros.

The reason for the “price” is that I will divide the total amounts spent by you all by the price, and then I can prioritize based on that ratio. If, for example, only 3 Euros were spent on UX, its ratio would be 3/5=0.6, whereas if 15 Euros were spent on 3D models, its ratio would be 15/10=1.5.

This will help me understand what you want to see more of on the website, so I can improve it in a way that is most useful to you.

Below is the list. If you’d like to help me out, please respond in the relevant Discord thread or YouTube post, or reply to the newsletter with how you’d spend 50 Euros on the categories listed below. (Please vote only once!)

Deadline: September 8th, 2025 (although I would still be interested in your opinion after that!)

2. 10 Euros: New 3D models.

3. 15 Euros: More reference photos.

4. 15 Euros: More tutorials/instructional videos/carousels/etc.

5. 15 Euros: More mini-apps that are useful for artists, on the website.

6. 15 Euros: Live sessions where we draw together.

7. Open question: Is there something you’d like to see that is not listed here?
